A: At the bell desk, we provide parcel delivery service using Japan express. *We may not be able to handle raw goods.

A: Children over 6 years of age are considered the same as adults.
In principle, children under 5 years old are not charged for accommodation.

* As a resort fee, a separate payment of 500 yen (over 6 years old) per person per stay is required.
* If you use Club Intercontinental, an additional charge at 3500 yen per day for 3 or more people (6 years and older) will be required separately.

A: In principle, children under 5 years old are not charged for staying with existing beds. Children over 6 years of age are considered the same as adults.

A: We have 10 Coral Rooms with a king size bed (2000mm x 2030mm) and some Club InterContinental Rooms/Suites (please enquire for details). All other rooms are “twin beds”. Depending on the room, it is possible to arrange 2 beds, but since there can be a gap, please contact us at the time of reservation.

A: Ocean Rooms & Suites, Coral Rooms 1200㎜ × 2000㎜ × 280㎜ 

 Club InterContinental Rooms and Suites, Bay Rooms 1830㎜ × 2030㎜ × 330 ㎜ 

A: Yes, they are located in the Bay Rooms and Club InterContinental Rooms and Suites. Please contact the hotel directly using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

A: Within the Ocean Rooms & Suites and Coral Rooms, all rooms can be equipped with entrance slopes in rooms, bathtub showers (shower caps on bathtub faucets) and toilet handrails. In addition, a dedicated shower carry (chair) can be borrowed. Please let us know your preferences in advance. Our Bay Rooms are barrier-free. As for the elevator, one see-through elevator has an announcement of up and down and arrival.

Room Details 

A: We offer the basic things you need for your stay.

Basic amenities:

Tissues, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair brush, shaver, sewing kit, shower cap, cotton wool, ladies set (cotton & hair band), indoor slippers, laundry soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, nail care set, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, resort wear (*large size) The hotel offers a wide range of amenities. 

 

Children’s amenities:

Resort wear (S size: 85cm length) and toothbrush.

A: LAN connection is available in all guest rooms for free. If you do not have a PC, at 2F business Centre, it is available for free for 24 hours.

A: All the rooms in the hotel are compatible with terrestrial digital broadcasting. In the room, in addition to the commercial broadcasting, children’s channel, English Channel, cable TV, BS broadcasting, Yaeyama channel, etc., you can watch a lot of programs.

A: In the hotel, “docomo” and “au” antennas are provided.

However, please understand that there are places where it is difficult to connect depending on the room.

A: If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, please contact the hotel.

If you did not book directly with the hotel, please make changes to your reservation with the 3rd party. *Pre-payment plans and other non hotel site or agency reservations are subject to the terms and conditions of each reservation or plan.

A: This will depend on the rates plan that you have selected. Pre-payment plans, non-hotel sites, and agency reservations are subject to the standard of each reservation destination and plan. If you have booked a plan where you are entitled to free cancellation, please contact us by 18:00 the day before your stay to cancel your stay. Thereafter, the hotel will charge a cancellation charge from the room rate based on the hotel’s terms and conditions. *Pre-payment plans and other non hotel site or agency reservations are subject to the terms and conditions of each reservation or plan.

A: The hotel will hold events in the courtyard, including during summer vacation and year-end and New Year holidays. If you want to enjoy watching the event from your room, we recommend the courtyard in front of the Ocean Rooms & Suites. There are sometimes private parties in the Courtyard until around 21:00. If you prefer a quiet room, we recommend a Western-facing Coral Room that does not face the courtyard.

Coral Room windows have a limited opening and closing range to prevent falling and ensure safety. In the Premium Garden View Room, it is not possible to open the window on the 1st floor.

A: Smoking is not permitted within the entire premises to prevent secondhand smoke, to comply with the revised Health Promotion Law, which will come into effect in April 2020.

A:IHG Rewards Club benefits and rewards points are only applicable to IHG ® Rewards Club members and bookings made through the official website.

For reservations made through websites other than the official website (such as ihg.com or anaihghotels.co.jp), IHG Rewards Club members are not eligible for the benefits or points

A: On each floor, an ice maker is available. Ice is made from normal drinking water filter that has been filtered.

A: Each room has a safe. Other key lockers are available at the beach house, which is located in front of the Ocean Rooms & Suites lobby, swimming pool changing room, and Maesato Beach. The beach house also has a paid coin locker (¥\200/day).

A: You can use the pool bath and sauna gym for free, not only during your stay but also on the day of your check-out. Towels and beach umbrellas are also free for guests staying at the hotel. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the front desk before check-in or after check-out, please arrange with the front desk or the concierge.

Maesato Golf Course

A: We recommend 6 irons including iron No.5, No.7, No.9, pitching wedge, sand wedge and putter.

A: We have 9 sets of male clubs, 6 sets of female clubs and 2 sets of lefty (male).

All shafts use R.

A: You can play with sneakers. You can wear T-shirts and shorts as well as collars, but we also ask for clothes with sleeves.

A: The cart shown on the homepage or in the pamphlet is a guide cart, not a passenger cart.

Indoor Bath & Sauna

A: The bath and sauna (on the 2nd floor of the Ocean Rooms and Suites) are open from 15:00 to 22:00.

*Please enter by 21:30. All rooms have a bathtub and shower room.

There are 2 types of sauna for both men and women: mist sauna and dry sauna.

Resort Pools

A: The indoor pool has a depth of 90cm and water temperature of 33 ° C (37 ° C for Jacuzzi). The outdoor pool has a depth of 30cm to 1m and the water temperature is around 26 ° C (different from the air temperature).

A: The pool is only available to hotel guests.

A: Please wear a water diaper for the pool. Children who are not toilet trained should wear a pool diaper and a bathing suit on top of it. For water play in the pool, diapers are available at the convenience store on the premises of the hotel.

Children and Family Facilities

A: Extra beds are only available for pre-school children (11,000 yen per night (service charge, tax included). 

Baby cots and fall prevention guards are provided complimentary.

There is a limit to the number of all of them, so please contact us in advance.

A: Children’s amenities include Resort Wear (S size: 85cm), slippers, toothbrush, and plastic cups.

A: Yes, all our rooms are non-smoking.

A: We offer complimentary rental. Please contact us in advance as we have limited quantities available.

We also offer a water wheelchair “chair board” that can be used in the beach area.

A: We offer disposable diapers and wipes at the convenience stores within the hotel.

We have 2 types of disposable diapers available – normal use and for water play.

A: Unfortunately we do not accept requests for baby food in the restaurant. You can choose from the existing menu or bring your own baby food into the restaurant. If you need help with heating, we will be happy to support as best we can.

A: There are two ways to share your bed with a preschool child.

  1. If a bed on the wall side is attached to the wall, the child can sleep on the wall side and the adult can sleep on the aisle side.
  2. Attach two beds. When installing two beds, there is a fixed night table between the beds, so avoid the beds so that the beds are attached, so the head of each of the two beds is about 30 cm from the wall. In some rooms beds cannot be attached as so, but please do not hesitate to contact us.

In principle, children under 5 years old are not charged for staying with existing beds. For children aged 6 and over, the rates are the same as for adults.

A: Yes, you can. However, no change is available for your gift card. In case of shortfall, please pay by cash, credit card etc.

A: You can choose to earn miles at the ANA Mileage Club or hotel points at IHG Rewards Club. Please present your credit card at the time of checkout.

A: Our Hotel Pastry chef can prepare a special cream cake (No. 4/diameter of about 12cm / ¥ 3600~).

*Please note: Since the kitchen prepares dishes containing other allergenic substances, there is a possibility that trace amounts may be present during processing or cooking. We also use the same cooking and washing equipment as other menus.

A: Due to health and safety regulations, cooking is not available at the hotel.

We will introduce shops that can be brought in, so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Destination & Climate

A: There is a general hospital within a 5-minute drive from the hotel. We also accept urgent patients for 24 hours.

A: Swimwear can be purchased in the general store in the hotel all year round.

Swimwear are also available at major supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel.

A: There are plenty of restaurants and bars (link) available within the hotel in addition to a convenience store.  Within walking distance from the hotel there is also an izakaya “kaaraya” where you can enjoy Ishigaki Island’s cuisine (opening hours 17:00 ~ 23:00). A convenience store is located within the hotel (opening hours 7: 00~22: 00) and there is a FamilyMart (24 hours) within 10 minutes walk.

A: Average annual temperature is 24 degrees and average humidity is 77%.

A: It varies from year to year, but typhoons are most likely to occur in August and September.

A: The outdoor pool is open from end of March to the end of October. Around 10 months of the year you can swim at the beach on Ishigaki Island.

Transportation

A:442 cars can be accommodated.

A: It is convenient to use a car such as a taxi or a rental car.
